SYNOPSIS: A Gen Z video creator returns to her ancestral home in search of viral supernatural content, only to encounter the ghost of her tragically deceased brother. To fulfil his wish, they must join hands to uncover the truth behind his untimely death while safeguarding the family's fortune and ancestral home from their greedy relatives.

Huynh Lap is a Vietnamese actor, comedian, businessman and filmmaker. He studied Multimedia at FPT Arena. Starting his career in 2012 as the founder and member of the comedy group DAMTV, he became known to the public after winning the first prize in the Laughing Contest across Vietnam in 2015. He created many famous short films and videos with the members of the DAMTV such as Worship of the Crab Against, The 1,800-year-old Bride, The Real Voice, Suddenly Rebel - hot boy wants to cry...

In 2016, he made an impression when he participated in the Saigon film project, I love you as a co-director and actor. The film was voted by the arts council for the best film award. In 2018, he made a web drama series “Ai Died Raise His Hand” and it was a great success helping Huynh Lap receive the first golden button in his career. Following the success of the web drama Ai Die Raises His Hand, in November 2019 Huynh Lap continued to release the movie Blind Magician: Who Die Raises His Hand, continuing the story of the online version of Ai Die Raises His Hand. His recent 2024 family drama “The Ancestral Home” has claimed the title of Vietnam’s highest grossing spiritual film.
