SYNOPSIS: Melissa, 32, an experienced prison officer, moves to Corsica with her husband and their two young children. It's an opportunity for a fresh start. She joins the team of a penitentiary center that is unlike any other. Here, they say it's the prisoners who watch over the guards. Melissa's integration is made easier by Saveriu, a young inmate who seems influential and places her under his protection. But once released, Saveriu reaches out to Melissa again. He has a favor to ask of her... A sinister mechanism begins to unfold.

Stéphane Demoustier was born in Lille in 1977. After several short films, he directed his first feature film in 2014, Terre Battue, which was screened at the Venice Film Festival, followed by the medium-length film Allons Enfants, selected for the Berlinale (Generation) in 2017. La Fille Au Bracelet, presented at the 2019 Locarno Film Festival, won the César Award for Best Adaptation. He also directed two seasons of the series Opera (OCS) and recently directed the first four episodes of the series Cimetière indien, which will be broadcast on Canal Plus in 2024. In 2023, Stéphane Demoustier completed editing his new film, BORGO, starring Hafsia Herzi in the lead role.
